The Horror Oh, I dreaded this place more than life itself,all the screams and terror were never ending. I told myself soon it will be over the darkness will flee and I will be free to carry on with my own life. If only you knew the darkness well you would understand. The darkness was no fool, if you had tried to play a trick it would catch you within two minutes. The frightening part was how it laughed in your face when you failed to escape. Not many people had made it past the gates, I was told it would slice you into pieces like an apple slicer. I didn’t think it was even possible but who knows what the darkness has in store for us. I tried escaping the darkness once or twice. It was hard video game,I must admit. Trying to escape the dark forces was getting on my nerves with the gates because it would slice you. You know what that means, I had to find another outlet in two minutes before it would find me. I don’t think it’s even possible escaping a palace that big. I hated when the people in the village screamed and how evil the whole place was because there were traps almost everywhere.

This is very different from my response and is in a very dark writing from that I would enjoy reading. I am not sure what is happening exactly, but I am sure that this is a video game played that focuses on fear and evasion of dark forces or a dark entity that harasses the player. The maximalism seen in the first paragraph truly caught my attention and succeeded in telling me that what ever was being described was sure to scare you. While the second paragraph told the same main idea but could of been a tad shorter since minimalism is to describe in the shortest amount of words possible. In the end I would say this is a very good writing piece and the writing put into this was put with effort.
I like that in the beginning you were descriptive with the words you used and made it kind of suspenseful. And then at the end you revealed that it was a video game. I like how you planned out your paragraphs.
In the sport of baseball their are many things that you need to do and its not as simple as many people think it is. The first thing that you need to do is make sure your playing your position right which takes lots of practice in catching and moving so that you could catch the ball. it really depends on which position you are playing because every position has its own strength like being able to throw the ball or being able to move your feet when the ball is coming. Another thing is being able to bat which can be difficult for people unless they practice their swing because it took me a while for me to get my swing and now i say that i can hit the ball far, after hours of practice.

My room is filled with a full amount of objects and trinkets reaching from corner to corner. The floor is a sharp tan wood that shares the room with a expansive ocean blue wall that touch at all sides to conjoin. A bed that shares forty percent of the somewhat small room that is set in the corner and faces towards the short windows set in a high position. Cabinets and a silver television join together to create a television stand facing the bed and door, the door that lets anyone enter, yet, contains a sign that proclaims,''Restricted Area''. In addition, the objects seen in the room are books, comics, a gaming system and shelves containing board games and video games, as I have said before, there are many objects in the room.

The Deadpool is a famous character for a lot of people. He might not have super power like Superman but he is awesome. It is every hard to tell if Deadpool is good or not because of his action. He saves people but he is also in for the money. He doesn’t steal from banks; he’ll take it from bad guys. Since there is two version of Deadpool, it is hard to pick one. One of the version is when he has super power. He was able to teleport and was able to regenerate his body health when he got hurt. This character was funny but more evil, which I don’t like. It was easy for him to kill his opponent. The second version is when his only super power is to regenerate health but this time he has more skills. He is able to use his weapon very skillfully and because of that he became the dangerous anti-hero. The reason Deadpool is an anti-hero because he kills for the sake of good. So, Deadpool is an awesome character who is really funny because he always break the fourth wall.

High school is such a dread to some people. People have to deal with all the homework and good grades. They have to deal with all the drama, like new relationships and break-ups. A lot of girls have to worry about if they’ll fit in. They have to worry about if that guy they like feels the same way. A lot of guys worry about if they’re cool enough to hang out with that one cool kid. However, not all high school experiences are like this. Many are really fun and enjoyable. In addition, there is no drama at all, and you don’t have to deal with the “he said, she said” gossip. That’s the worst. What I'm describing: MInecraft Minimalism: Such a simple design and yet so much is possible. Maximalism: The only place where a human can punch trees down and make tools by hand. The game is unique because it is one of the only games that has lower quality graphics and is more successful than many other games that have much better graphics. The fun in the game is you can do whatever you want you can build, survive, compete, and if you were ever to get bored you ca just install mods/add-ons with ease. The game uses 8-bit graphics which is extremely different compared to every other popular game out now. You can even play with your friends! The amount of detail in such a simple game is amazing. The things you can do are endless and that means never ending fun. If you dont like the 8-bit graphics you can change the quality of the game by installing a resource pack to change the quality of the graphics.
I like this blog not only because of the sheer great minimalism and maximalism, but the topic itself. Since I have had experience with such game called ''Minecraft''. This perfectly describes the game in its true form and its simplicity and visual vibe it gives off. Even though our experinces might be different.
My first day of high school wasn't so good. I thought I was going to be a total loner because I only knew like 2 or 3 people and my sister. Which doesn't really count cause she has to be with me. But, on the first day UIC made it look like if it was fun to go to school, but then the 2nd day of school came and they were kind of strict. I didnt like this school at all and I was planning on going to Curie or Kelly. I didnt like this school because of the uniforms, cause its strict, and cause not all my friends came here. I didnt like the people in my advisory, but then we all got closer and now we're all good. So if i have to stay in this school for 4 years might as well get used to it now.
I didnt like my first day of freshman year, but if im going to stay here might as well get used to it now.
I could connect to this so much. I think everyone felt like they were going to be a loner at first. Advisory was also really awkward because we didn't really know each other. I only knew four people coming into this school. I was really scared at first.

I also recieved a demerit because a teacher said I was running in the hall. When you are guy, you will always have you're first love. Think about her when you feel sad, think about her when you're happy, go to her when you need advice. Always showing who you really are to that one special girl. You will see her as your hero, protecting you from all evil as much as she can. Soon you realize, she won't be with you forever, she has to go sooner or later. You try your best to enjoy the moments while they last, but you get angry at her and tel her you don't love her no more. Soccer is my favorite sport even thought you can get easily tired in this sport its very fun all positions in soccer are fun to play as the defense gets to stay back and guard the goal while the midfielder chases the ball and the forwards stay ahead in-case the ball gets near the opposing teams goal and we don't miss the opportunity to make a goal. even thought I said the defense had to stay back and guard the goal that position is just as fun because the team is counting on you not to allow the opposing team to make a goal on us and more then likely the ball will be heading to our goal ounce and a while so the defense is just as fun of a position to play as a forward or midfielder. my favorite position is the midfielder because I really dont feel limited to staying to one specific are and im allowed to run back and forth to defend and attack/make a goal so its basically a neutral position.
Soccer is basically composed of three field positions the defense,midfielder and forwards these positions names are self explanatory but the defense stays back and guards and the midfielder stays in the middle of the filed but acts like a neutral player and the forward stays forward waiting for a good time to make a point on the other team.

Dear reader, Topic BasketBall My favorite sport of all would have to be basketball because of all the action that take place in less than 2 hours.Bouncing the orange ball up and down off the ground allow you to know you are in control, as a result, leaving you in charge of passong it to your teammates. keeping your eyes up is the number one rule, by having your head down and eyes on the floor it dosent allow you to see who is coming up on you, therefore, giving the other team a chance to steal the ball making a shot in the making.Furthermore by holding your head up high you are able to make many great shots. Some even become clingy and a jealous of thoses who come around their friends. But it's bad to be clingy with one, because it could annoy that specfic person you clinged on to. The way he walks to the way he eats, my dog acts like he’s a person. He does things on purpose to get you mad and to pay attention to him. Although Tyrannosaurus rex was a great hunter, it had some drawbacks to its monstrous design. Due to its lack of speed, it is most likely that T-rex was an ambush predator and that it cannot keep up with long-distance chases. Next, T-rex had ridiculously small arms for its size. Additionally, its front claws were also tiny and not suited for killing prey. It's likely that T-rex doesn't use is arms at all, or at least used them to hold down prey as T-rex went for a killing blow on its helpless victim. Despite its flaws, Tyrannosaurus rex also had very useful tools to become a great killer. One of its tools is its tail. If T-rex never had a long tail, its large, tooth-filled head would be too heavy for T-rex to lift. Its tail is what helps balances T-rex's weight as its tail is just as heavy as its head. Unfortunately for T-rex, its incredible design wasn't enough to save it or its fellow dinosaurs form the extinction. Nonetheless, Tyrannosaurus rex has left a mark in biomechanical engineering as one the most deadly predators that ever lived.

Miximalism: The first day of high school was really terrifying. I didn't know the teacher, how they are, if they’re nice or mean. Also, I didn’t know what my schedule was, where my classes were, if they’re in the first floor or second maybe third. I was like a little kid that is lost at a store. I was always wondering something as I walk in a class or any other room; for example, I wondered if I was the only one who didn't know where to go, or if I was in the wrong class. Maximalism:The first day of high school at UIC College Prep wasn't very fun or excited for me. I thought the school was very small because of how it looked like from the outside but it really was not that small. I thought that the teachers were very strict with all students specifically on the dress code many of them would just give out demerits for wrong dress code.I got a demerit on my first day for not having my shirt tucked in, I thought that I did not deserve to get that demerit because it was my first day of school.When I had to go to my classroom I did not know where I was going and didn't know any of the teachers. Many of my friends where there, only like 2 or 3, but I really did not know any of the people in there. But then as the weeks passed I started to get used to it,and started getting used to the rules so for now I'm staying.

Dear Reader, Maximalism: In a lazy morning of July, the day felt colder than to say its summer, rays of light peek through the sides of a blind, reflecting the white walls of a dead room. The room was completely still and silent, nothing daring to disturb the peace. The room was plain and white, small and simple, ment for two people, roomies. On each side of the entrance there a iron pipe and a wooden shelf inside a stepped rectangular,function as a closet. In front of the closets, they are two desks, on the right of each having 3 cabinets with built in light on the bottom top shelf, above the desk. Both desks weren’t like one another, one was organized and well-managed while the other is messy and not much attention given. Behind the desks are two beds, one behind each desk. In both beds were unmoved bodies, both covered in blankets. In the middle of both beds was a cabinet, filled with clothing and other belongings. On the end of both beds where two windows, blocking the light. As the quiet room staid still, a certain time broke it all with a low pitched ringing that bounced and hit the walls of the room, an alarm.
Minimalism: Waking up the next day by my alarm, as usual. But in a new room and new state, totally changes my day completely.
What I/m describing: My dog and I. Maximilism: My dog's name is precious, shes a Yorki. She's a very beautiful dog. I love her so much because we did so many things together in the summer. I've been having her since I was in sixth grade. I know her very well and she's all I wished for at the time. That's the only thing I ever wanted. a dog. In the summer we grew very close to each other, although she got a bit annoying at times. I loved the summer with her and I know she loved it too. I took her on long walks to the park, I played with her in the yard, and I took her long baths, I even gave her, her favorite treats when she did what I told her to do. However, once winter came It sucked. Me and her got really distant with each other, only because of school and basketball season starting. Since I was super busy, I knew that I would have to give her away to someone, but I asked myself how? How will I have the strength to do that.How will I trust someone to take good care of her? One day when I got home from Basketball practice My mom and her boyfriend told me precious was sick and she didn't want to move nor bark, that was really rare coming from a dog like her. Moreover, her eyes began to roll back, she was too weak to even stand up, and she started to have this stench. i thought to myself this cant be happening, I began to start crying. I kept on telling my mom she's sick lets do something. I wasn't going to give up on her. I still had hope. My mom said there's no chance she'll make it. Of course I didn't believe that. I had no idea what to do, this had never happened to me. Nobody seemed to care but only me. I then realized It was too late. I just stood there next to her sobbing. I couldn't even stand to look at her because I blamed myself for her death. I was empty. Obviously, I will never forget this depressing night. Minimalism: I had this wonderful dog, we did a lot of things together. She was like my best friend. I became too busy to even notice her, so one day she became very sick and past away. Maximalism: I used to name my things when I was little. My dog that I got for valentine’s day was pink and fluffy. She was a very little dog. I used to always sleep with her. She had big flappy ears and no one could ever take her away from me. I got her when I was a little older than seven years old. I used to put her in the wash and pretend that she was taking a bath. I named her pinky, because she had a pink butt, ears, and paws. I used to wash her so much that all of the fluff that was in her went all to her bottom. If I would lose her, I would cry. I put makeup on her and I would put her next to me as we ate. I could not stand the fact that my sister got the same one, but I would always play with both dogs like they were sisters. The fluffy dog was not that big. Pinky now is always in my room, either on my dresser, or on the bed. Dear Reader, If I had to describe my house to you in a very descriptive way it probably would take longer than just telling you basics of my house. I am not to sure which one you would prefer so I decided not to think so much about it and I came up with a solution. So I am going to describe my house in both ways for you first in a basic way then in a very descriptive way.
To describe my house in a very basic way I would say that my house is a normal house with three bathrooms and five rooms it has two floors the basement and the first leveled floor. It has beds and couches for me to sleep on or to sit on. It has light for you to see as you walk. Also it has stairs going up or down the two floors. It is made out of bricks and has a garage for two cars in the back. They yard is not so big and It has an entrance and exit.
Now if I describe it in a very descriptive way I would begin to give you details about the five rooms saying, the rooms are very big and have a closet that is not so big it is like a rectangular closet. Except the master room has a walk in closet that is huge and a bathroom with a hot tub. The floor is wood floor for each room and the basement and kitchen are ceramic floors. The living room has a samsung tv that is about 60’’ diagonal. The master room has an exact same one except the one in the living room has a PS4. The tv in the basement is the same size except it is a LG and has a PS3. All the tv are mounted on the wall. Finally the house is made of brown bricks and is in the form of a rectangle. The Horror
ReplyDeleteOh, I dreaded this place more than life itself,all the screams and terror were never ending. I told myself soon it will be over the darkness will flee and I will be free to carry on with my own life. If only you knew the darkness well you would understand. The darkness was no fool, if you had tried to play a trick it would catch you within two minutes. The frightening part was how it laughed in your face when you failed to escape. Not many people had made it past the gates, I was told it would slice you into pieces like an apple slicer. I didn’t think it was even possible but who knows what the darkness has in store for us.
I tried escaping the darkness once or twice. It was hard video game,I must admit. Trying to escape the dark forces was getting on my nerves with the gates because it would slice you. You know what that means, I had to find another outlet in two minutes before it would find me. I don’t think it’s even possible escaping a palace that big. I hated when the people in the village screamed and how evil the whole place was because there were traps almost everywhere.

This is very different from my response and is in a very dark writing from that I would enjoy reading. I am not sure what is happening exactly, but I am sure that this is a video game played that focuses on fear and evasion of dark forces or a dark entity that harasses the player. The maximalism seen in the first paragraph truly caught my attention and succeeded in telling me that what ever was being described was sure to scare you. While the second paragraph told the same main idea but could of been a tad shorter since minimalism is to describe in the shortest amount of words possible. In the end I would say this is a very good writing piece and the writing put into this was put with effort.

In the sport of baseball their are many things that you need to do and its not as simple as many people think it is. The first thing that you need to do is make sure your playing your position right which takes lots of practice in catching and moving so that you could catch the ball. it really depends on which position you are playing because every position has its own strength like being able to throw the ball or being able to move your feet when the ball is coming. Another thing is being able to bat which can be difficult for people unless they practice their swing because it took me a while for me to get my swing and now i say that i can hit the ball far, after hours of practice.

The floor is a sharp tan wood that shares the room with a expansive ocean blue wall that touch at all sides to conjoin. Cabinets and a silver television join together to create a television stand facing the bed and door, the door that lets anyone enter, yet, contains a sign that proclaims,''Restricted Area''. Since there is two version of Deadpool, it is hard to pick one. One of the version is
when he has super power. He was able to teleport and was able to regenerate
his body health when he got hurt. This character was funny but more evil, which I don’t like.
It was easy for him to kill his opponent. The second version is when his only super power is
to regenerate health but this time he has more skills. He is able to use his weapon
very skillfully and because of that he became the dangerous anti-hero. The reason
Deadpool is an anti-hero because he kills for the sake of good. So, Deadpool
is an awesome character who is really funny because he always break the fourth
wall.
The reason Deadpool breaks the fourth wall because he knows that he is in a
comic which is strange. Deadpool is a wacky character.

High school is such a dread to some people. People have to deal with all the homework and good grades. They have to deal with all the drama, like new relationships and break-ups. A lot of girls have to worry about if they’ll fit in. They have to worry about if that guy they like feels the same way. A lot of guys worry about if they’re cool enough to hang out with that one cool kid. However, not all high school experiences are like this. Many are really fun and enjoyable. In addition, there is no drama at all, and you don’t have to deal with the “he said, she said” gossip. That’s the worst. ReplyDeleteMinimalism: Such a simple design and yet so much is possible.
Maximalism: The only place where a human can punch trees down and make tools by hand. The game is unique because it is one of the only games that has lower quality graphics and is more successful than many other games that have much better graphics. The fun in the game is you can do whatever you want you can build, survive, compete, and if you were ever to get bored you ca just install mods/add-ons with ease. The game uses 8-bit graphics which is extremely different compared to every other popular game out now. You can even play with your friends! The amount of detail in such a simple game is amazing. The things you can do are endless and that means never ending fun. If you dont like the 8-bit graphics you can change the quality of the game by installing a resource pack to change the quality of the graphics.

I wanted to transfer so bad, but I knew my mother wasn't going for that; I had so much homework and went to sleep everyday about tweleve or one a.m. The girls in my advisory didn't talk much, but now I have a new perspective about the school. ReplyDeleteMaximalism: My room has a lot of space so many people can be in there without being crowed. On the right hand side is my king size bed. Then on the left hand side i got a cabinet with 5 shelves.They are all full of clothes. I also have a rack for my jordans and another rack for my other shoes. All my walls are painted on with different names of people that had been in there. I Have a desk with all my markers and paints. My laptop and radio are also on my desk for when I paint i can listen to music. My room is where i spend most of my time.

When you are guy, you will always have you're first love. Think about her when you feel sad, think about her when you're happy, go to her when you need advice. Always showing who you really are to that one special girl. You will see her as your hero, protecting you from all evil as much as she can. Soon you realize, she won't be with you forever, she has to go sooner or later. You try your best to enjoy the moments while they last, but you get angry at her and tel her you don't love her no more.

With a smile and tear in her eyes she hugs you and tells you that she loves you, not realizing it was your fault all this time, her tears were dripping down her face.
As the years pass by, you get older, more independent and don't want to be bothered. All you have time for is your friends and Facebook. She comes and gives you a hug and says she loves you. You push her off and say "Leave me alone, you are always bothering me, I'm not a little boy anymore". Once again, you see her with tears in her eyes and she goes to her room, with her heart broken. You go and ask her, "What's wrong?" She looks into your eyes and hugs you tightly, with tears in her eyes, she tells you " You will always be my baby, no matter what, I love you." DeleteSoccer is my favorite sport even thought you can get easily tired in this sport its very fun all positions in soccer are fun to play as the defense gets to stay back and guard the goal while the midfielder chases the ball and the forwards stay ahead in-case the ball gets near the opposing teams goal and we don't miss the opportunity to make a goal. even thought I said the defense had to stay back and guard the goal that position is just as fun because the team is counting on you not to allow the opposing team to make a goal on us and more then likely the ball will be heading to our goal ounce and a while so the defense is just as fun of a position to play as a forward or midfielder. my favorite position is the midfielder because I really dont feel limited to staying to one specific are and im allowed to run back and forth to defend and attack/make a goal so its basically a neutral position.

My favorite sport of all would have to be basketball because of all the action that take place in less than 2 hours.Bouncing the orange ball up and down off the ground allow you to know you are in control, as a result, leaving you in charge of passong it to your teammates. keeping your eyes up is the number one rule, by having your head down and eyes on the floor it dosent allow you to see who is coming up on you, therefore, giving the other team a chance to steal the ball making a shot in the making.Furthermore by holding your head up high you are able to make many great shots. Also there are different position when you are on the court and me being familiar with point guard i am able to hop in a game knowing what steps to take next, now sometimes you can get thrown in a game a place in a postion that you have never played so ,consequently, throwing you whole team off their A game. In addition to having really good defense at all times no matter how tired you may be just continue to push your self,But though that sound like a lot of hard work that is why i love it at the end because it make you work to become better just like every day life activities.

ReplyDelete(Maximalism) In life you would meet a lot of new people, and you'll eventually become attached to them after being around them so long. Some even become clingy and a jealous of thoses who come around their friends. When people become clingy they dont want anyone but themselves to talk to that specfic person, because they feel that their friend is being taken away from them. But it's bad to be clingy with one, because it could annoy that specfic person you clinged on to. You shouldn't be stuck on one person you should be active and talk to more people, and have more than just one friend. I say so because say if that person is absent, now you have no one to talk to. Then you'll start talking to people you've never talked to before and they'll feel used. It's beneficial to talk to more than one person because you always have someone on your side when you need to talk/ need someone to lean on .

In a lazy morning of July, the day felt colder than to say its summer, rays of light peek through the sides of a blind, reflecting the white walls of a dead room. The room was completely still and silent, nothing daring to disturb the peace. The room was plain and white, small and simple, ment for two people, roomies. On each side of the entrance there a iron pipe and a wooden shelf inside a stepped rectangular,function as a closet. In front of the closets, they are two desks, on the right of each having 3 cabinets with built in light on the bottom top shelf, above the desk. Both desks weren’t like one another, one was organized and well-managed while the other is messy and not much attention given. Behind the desks are two beds, one behind each desk. In both beds were unmoved bodies, both covered in blankets. In the middle of both beds was a cabinet, filled with clothing and other belongings. On the end of both beds where two windows, blocking the light. As the quiet room staid still, a certain time broke it all with a low pitched ringing that bounced and hit the walls of the room, an alarm.

In the summer we grew very close to each other, although she got a bit annoying at times. I loved the summer with her and I know she loved it too. I took her on long walks to the park, I played with her in the yard, and I took her long baths, I even gave her, her favorite treats when she did what I told her to do. However, once winter came It sucked. Me and her got really distant with each other, only because of school and basketball season starting. Since I was super busy, I knew that I would have to give her away to someone, but I asked myself how? How will I have the strength to do that.How will I trust someone to take good care of her? One day when I got home from Basketball practice My mom and her boyfriend told me precious was sick and she didn't want to move nor bark, that was really rare coming from a dog like her. Moreover, her eyes began to roll back, she was too weak to even stand up, and she started to have this stench. i thought to myself this cant be happening, I began to start crying. I kept on telling my mom she's sick lets do something. I wasn't going to give up on her. I still had hope. My mom said there's no chance she'll make it. Of course I didn't believe that. I had no idea what to do, this had never happened to me. Nobody seemed to care but only me. I then realized It was too late. I just stood there next to her sobbing. I couldn't even stand to look at her because I blamed myself for her death. I was empty. Obviously, I will never forget this depressing night.
Minimalism: I had this wonderful dog, we did a lot of things together. She was like my best friend. I became too busy to even notice her, so one day she became very sick and past away. It was the most dreadful night ever.

ReplyDeleteI used to name my things when I was little. My dog that I got for valentine’s day was pink and fluffy. She was a very little dog. I used to always sleep with her. She had big flappy ears and no one could ever take her away from me. I got her when I was a little older than seven years old. I used to put her in the wash and pretend that she was taking a bath. I named her pinky, because she had a pink butt, ears, and paws. I used to wash her so much that all of the fluff that was in her went all to her bottom. If I would lose her, I would cry. I put makeup on her and I would put her next to me as we ate. I could not stand the fact that my sister got the same one, but I would always play with both dogs like they were sisters. The fluffy dog was not that big. Pinky now is always in my room, either on my dresser, or on the bed. I would take pictures of her, and one time I even put a pamper on her, because I treated her like a baby.

ReplyDeleteIf I had to describe my house to you in a very descriptive way it probably would take longer than just telling you basics of my house. I am not to sure which one you would prefer so I decided not to think so much about it and I came up with a solution. So I am going to describe my house in both ways for you first in a basic way then in a very descriptive way.
To describe my house in a very basic way I would say that my house is a normal house with three bathrooms and five rooms it has two floors the basement and the first leveled floor. It has beds and couches for me to sleep on or to sit on. It has light for you to see as you walk. Also it has stairs going up or down the two floors. It is made out of bricks and has a garage for two cars in the back. They yard is not so big and It has an entrance and exit.
Now if I describe it in a very descriptive way I would begin to give you details about the five rooms saying, the rooms are very big and have a closet that is not so big it is like a rectangular closet. Except the master room has a walk in closet that is huge and a bathroom with a hot tub. The floor is wood floor for each room and the basement and kitchen are ceramic floors. The living room has a samsung tv that is about 60’’ diagonal. The master room has an exact same one except the one in the living room has a PS4. The tv in the basement is the same size except it is a LG and has a PS3. All the tv are mounted on the wall. Finally the house is made of brown bricks and is in the form of a rectangle.
