Dear Reader, If academic achievements was the biggest factor in determining popularity, it would have a huge ripple affect on society mainly in a positive way.If it was the biggest factor of determining popularity, then there would be a decrease of teenage girls getting pregnant, a decrease in drug use, less people would be out of a job, and there would be a decrease in (gang) violence. There would also be a lot more jobs that are available to the people, and a lot less kids in summer school. However, if academic achievement was the biggest factor to becoming popular, then the arts would be on the verge of extinction. With the majority of the people focusing on their academics, they would pay no attention to the arts. If that were to happen, then there would be less movies, video games, T.V shows, radio stations, music, artists, etc.Which I personally believe would be absolutely horrid. If this were to be true, I don't believe it would change my life all that much. To be honest, I don't really much care about popularity, I care more about music. Of coarse I care about my academics, but my academics are very important regardless. What is the point of popularity anyways? I wouldn't really much care if I was to be popular or not, as long as I'm happy and have a good education, that's all that really matters. In my opinion of coarse. Thank you. Yours truly, Destiny Marcos Ms.Wright A/B 3
(1)If you achievment determined your popularity I think people would only be your friend because of your knowledge. (2)What I mean by that is no matter what popularity has it’s pros and cons like using people, actually being acknowledged, or your the best. (3)It’s kind of impossible to say what the outcome will be but that’s on how the person represents themselves right? (2)If that’s true then, we would go right back to where I had said that there is a possibility that everyone can be popular base on what they know.(3) Maybe, Richard Feynman means that since there could be a possibility of becoming popular everyone would be treated the same or just having knowledge can change where you go in life.(4) But what’s the whole point if being popular if you have two outcomes?(5) It would make a big difference of how we all interact with one another.
(1)Knowledge can change your life by not only benefitting yourself but everyone else.(2) What do you by that? Well, you can help yourself by getting a new career and earning respect. (3) You may benefit others by creating new ideas like video games, technology, gift cards. (4) If the whole world had great knowledge than this world would be tech just by a touch of a button.(5) It’s kind of scary if you ask me because knowing that a person can create something unknown to the known.
I would like to add a sentence between 1-and 2 Making them mot really your fiends to began with they where with you based on the rank of your popularity.

(6.) This wouldn't really change my life because I don't hang out with the "popular people" because I think that sometimes they like to cause pointless issues to make them seem "cool".

(1)If academic achievement was the biggest factor to determining popularity i would have a big impact on the whole school environment.(2) Those who everyone consider smart would be those who would be considered popular.(3) and those who are considered popular now wouldn’t be popular because those people tend tend to have low grades which would make them unpopular.(4) Now the whole school would be upside down if academic achievement was the biggest factor to determine popularity.(5) Everyone likes to be popular so now everyone would would work hard to get the popularity they want.
(6)Today being cool would make you popular in high school, but being smart would make you even more popular.(7)my life wouldn’t really change at all if this was true.(8) I say this because if grades were to determine how popular i would be i still wouldn’t be popular because my grades aren’t the highest but they aren’t the lowest so i would stay in the same level.(9) Although being popular can be a good thing it can also increase motivation in everybody.(10) Therefore it kind of would change my life to get me more involved in school.
(11)Every school would be affected if this was to actually be true.(12) By this i mean that schools would now have a higher graduation rate which would make every high school a good high school.(13)Everyone enjoys a little fame so they would feel motivated to actually try in school and not just slack off in school.(14)Slackers turn into straight a’s students and schools are better off.(15)Now everyone is better off as a popular smart student.

5)Also, this would change the celebrities that we look up to because some people don’t have a good academic achievements, therefore they won’t be famous anymore. 6) And as a result, people who really have good things to bring to the world will have a chance to be known and have people find out about the things they want to do.7) And singers, rappers that we enjoy probably will not have a job because they won’t be known and have fans based on their education. 8)There won’t be any bad influences on teens and kids, Such as, teens being influenced by bad behavior that some celebrities show.
6) Therefore, if popularity was determined by academic achievement, it would change world in a positive way. 7)There will be good examples of role models instead of negative role models. 8)It will also change the people who are celebrities because most celebrities don’t have many academic achievement. 9) More people will want to be successful in life because they’ll have successful people to look up to.

I agree because if it was based on popularity then then people would be on the ha;ll of fame because they are so smart and they are making a PMC. That would greatly impact the world. Iliana Barcenas Ms. Wright A2/B2
If academic achievement was the biggest factor in determining popularity:
(1) I would be a bit popular, I think because I have pretty good grades. (2) I’m not outstanding though. (3) I also think that some celebrities wouldn’t be famous anymore. (4) For example, Kim K she gets payed to exist, and I’m pretty sure she’s not bright.. AT ALL.
(5) Maybe even her whole family, especially Kris Jenner, she’s (unfortunately) the head of the family. (6) I know for sure, that we wouldn’t idolize people like Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears, Miley Cyrus etc. (7) Although, most celebrities are dumb, not all are: for example Sofia Vergera! (8) At school, things would be very different. (9) A lot of the people who are thought of as cool and popular would sink back to the bottom and the people who actually do well in school would shine out and be considered cool.
(10) Also, I think that people would get bullied really badly for not being smart or doing good in school. (11) Which, I think would lead people to try harder in school and get good grades or at least better grades than others just to prove that they're better. (12) Which would end up benefiting them. - Damaris C.
If academic achievement was the biggest factor in determining popularity, my life would change a lot. I would not know all of the people in the school and out of the school. I would probably be ignored by mostly everyone because I currently have a 2.5 GPA and that is not a very good GPA to have. It is a great thing to be noticed because you can ask for many things from people such as help for your homework, ask where a classroom is, and just ask someone if they want to hang out later. If this really happened I am sure a lot of kids who are popular right now would not be noticed at all.
Some of the kids that are very smart are not that popular, but thinking about if people would be popular by their grades is crazy. This would actually be a good thing to do because kids would actually want to do their homework, do good on their tests, and just do good period so they can get better grades and be noticed by all of the students. I know for a fact that people would be very popular if this was a real thing.
I think this would be a really good way to become popular because you are learning and becoming popular at the same time. It would be really hard to stay popular because our tests and homework is hard most of the time. People actually do get noticed if they have a high GPA because people think you have to be a genius to do that but actually it is really easy to be smart.
Dear Reader I agree because once your popular nowadays you can learn things you never thought possible. It actually does make you smarter but more wiser in ways. Tashianna Cannon A/B3
Dear Reader, 1. In my opinion if popularity was determined by academic achievement it would have many changes from what popularity is determined by today. 2. One of the things that would really change is the effort people would put into their school. 3. Another thing that would change is that everything would go opposite because the people we see as nerds now will be popular and the people we see as “cool” will most likely be unpopular. 4. Another thing that would change is that a lot of people’s mindset would change instead of wanting to be like the ones we see “cool” now they will strive to have good grades and stuff to be popular. 5. Also, people will want to be passing all of their classes if there was a change like this. 6. This would affect my life because I usually don’t try in school but if there was a change like this I would probably try more to get some popularity. 7. Another way that this can change my life is because maybe I wouldn’t have the same friends as I have now as if when this change was made. 8. Maybe if this change happened it would change the way I see stuff now than from what I thought about them before the change. 9. The change that would happen wouldn’t just affect me but all the people around me because everybody’s mindset would be towards trying in school for popularity. 10. Other people probably would still not care about school but still be popular. 11. I am not sure maybe this change wouldn’t do any damage, but I my opinion I think that everybody's mindset would change.
1) I do believe that if academic achievement was the biggest factor that determined someones popularity a lot of things would change. 2) Because there is a lot of popular people, especially in teens, that do not have good grades or much academic achievement in their lives. 3) Since some people or not liked just because they are really smart, it would be the total opposite way. 4) And I think that the amount of popular people would be very different. 5) Because of how people would be considered popular.
1) I don’t think that I would be a popular person, not even the way I am now. 2) I don’t have the best grades and so that is what would cause me to not be as popular if popularity was rated by academic achievement. 3) I think that it would make people be more academically successful because they would to be more popular. 4) It might even make a better world since people would want to become more popular and that means having more academic success. 5) It would also create better role models since they would be the people with the most academic success.
1) If the popular people were to be the ones that were rich and popular it would be fair. 2) They would have worked hard to get to where they are and it would be a good thing. 3) A lot of the popular rich people are now doing bad things and getting into trouble just because they are famous and popular. 4) However, if it were the smart people with high academic achievement they probably would not do anything like that. 5) They would be smart enough not to and ruin their lives.
I agree with you in paragraph 2, I wouldn't be such a popular person either with the way I am doing now. I also agree with sentence 3 in paragraph 2 because a lot of people would be successful, but the main point of them achieving in their academics would be for popularity. -Tiffany Pancoalt A/B 3 Ms.Wright
Dear reader, I agree with your last paragraph because their two different people of sort but wanting the same thing which is fairness. Tashianna Cannon A/B3
(1.) If academic achievement was the biggest factor of popularity, then more people would be focused on school because a lot of people are so determined to become popular. (2.) I don’t think this would be a bad thing because people would be getting better grades and higher test scores. (3.) This would really have a positive effect on today’s society. (4.) Popularity being based on academic achievement would be hard for some people, but it would be difficult for others. (5.) This would be hard for some people because they might struggle at school, or they aren’t getting the help they need.
(6.) If popularity was based on academic achievement, many people in today’s society wouldn’t be very popular. (7.) I don’t think they would be considered popular because a lot of them may not seem very smart. (8.) Also, a lot of celebrities now aren’t making a lot of wise and smart decisions. (9.) Popularity being based on academic achievement would not only have a major effect on school, but it would have a major effect on society. (10.) The popular people now probably wouldn’t be popular if it was based on their academic achievement.
(11.) This would change the way our school works, too. (12.) All of the smarter kids, who aren’t considered popular now, may become more noticed because of their academic achievement. (13.) Making academic achievement the biggest factor of popularity would have a positive effect on our school. (14.) It would have a positive effect because people will start to try harder. (15.) It could also have negative on our school because people are only trying to achieve academically to be popular.
I would add this sentence in paragraph 1 between sentence 3 and 4 : For example, since people then will be focus on school they will not be outside that often, which means there will be less gang violence or any type of violence in general.
(1.) If academic achievement was the greatest factor in determining popularity then I think that everyone’s GPA would be high. (2.)I think people would want to be popular, so in order to become popular, they would have to get the highest GPA. (3.) They would do all their homework, study, and work hard to make sure that they have the highest GPA.
(4.) I think a lot of people would change. (5.)Such as their action , maybe how they are as a person.(6.) Moreover, More people wouldn’t buy lot of video games or makeup because thats not what make them popular anymore. (7.)I think they would actually buy books and notebooks.(8.)People wouldn’t go to parties or hang out with their friend.(9.)They would want to go study or go do their homework.(10.) people’s action will change.(11.)And how they are as a person would change.
(11.) It would not affect me because I don’t care about being popular. (12.)I kinda like to do my own thing, and not follow someone for what they have. (13.)I wouldn’t see the world different.(14.)I mean I would still try to get my grades up and my GPA up ,but I wouldn’t do it for popularly. (15.)I would do it for my life ,and for me to become successful. Gloria ArroyoA3/B3 Ms. Wright
What if academic achievement was by the biggest factor in determining popularity? How would this change your life?
(1). If academic achievement was that factor that determined popularity then everyones life would have a drastic change. (2) I think more people would try harder to get good grades, just so they can be “popular”. (3) In some cases that’s good and bad. (4)For example, it’ll be good, because more people are trying harder to maintain good grades.(5) But, its also a bad thing because everyone would be trying so hard to get good grades to try to fit in.(6) Which is bad because that can become stressful, and some may try to be something that they’re not.
(7) Since more students are trying their best to get good grade, then more positive things can happen.(8) Such as less violence and more students graduating and getting into good schools. (9) People would now make school their number one priority. (10)Which, overall I think is a good factor.
(11) But some may think otherwise, because normally people who are popular in movies are “dumb” or they lack in caring about school and their grades. (12) Which can be a bad outcome for them, because basing popularity on academic achievement is stealing their shine and they’ll become an outcast.(13) Their ego would decrease, and people may start to realize its not all about popularity its about school.
1. If academic achievement was by for the biggest factor in determining popularity I believe that this would then change life completely because their would then be lots of kids focused on trying to get smarter just to become more popular this would then make things different because they would see things completely different than how they see them today the kids then will want to have complete popularity by becoming the most educated they could possibly become they would then want to live the lives of some smarter student the more educated the child i believe that once the students would then strive to become greater because of the way popularity is set up.
2. I also believe that that not only would this affect students and popularity but it would affect all of the celebrities as well i also believe that none of them would then be popular because of how some are less educated than the others and that when they are on magazines its mainly because of something bad they did but in this case i believe that with popularity being on education there would not be any one doing anything bad like they might be with the celebrities of our time they would most likely be on how someones doing in school or how well educated they sounded in an interview.
3. MY third opinion on how popularity being determined by smartness is that not only would this basically alter a lot of thing that teenager do but i think that this is going to help a majority of the child academics and allow them to focus more on what's important then on what's less and allow them do good one downfall of this is that not all of teens want popularity which makes it bad and those people only getting smarter to get popular not with the motivation to learn just to learn.
1) If academics were the biggest factor of becoming popular, than most of those inventors that people thought were crazy turned a out to be cool then society would be forever changing. 2)Then our world could be a better place, because if these geniuses were provided with the resources that they need then we could maybe have better technology in the 21 century.3) If being smart in your life and in school then the world could possibly be a better place in so many ways, but then if the better resources could be used to help people then they can be used to hurt people.4) That is why people will then follow only the smartest and bright minded like scientists and scholars .5) Which then leads to a whole new world of ever changing popularity based on the academics of others. 6.)This new form of popularity could inspire others to become smarter, and some inventors could be sponsored to find cure for viruses and diseases, like cancer, which could help them have a better future . 7.) Meaning that people on the streets would be in the books and get a good education so that they could stay off of the street and get a job; This would cause crime to go down because everyone would to study hard to get popular and more successful .8) It can also make a standard for all people, this will make education rise in all people due to the attention that they want and making less time for themselves. 9) This will mark a new age in education and intelligence making it better for society. 10)If this was true in any school things would be completely different; since people will usually be very high in education while some will receive no attention.11) Which in the long run is better for everyone, because of the new popularity rule.12) If I were in this situation it would be a standard popularity among others but will strive to do better in school. 13) This overall will make school way more better and make everyone better general. -Ian Sample- B3 Wright
1.If academic achievements was by far the biggest factor in determining popularity this would make a huge impact to society.(2) My reason for this is because usually popularity comes from being the star player in football or being head captain of cheerleading not by how smart or what you can do it just by showing your not a lame.(3) If academic achievements was by far the biggest determining factor it would change me, it would make me more popular, I would never go to school, I would always cut class, I would hang with the cool kids, and I would do whatever I want. (4) If people have academic achievement in them they would be able to get jobs, graduate from H.S and college to go on an make something of themselves.
(6) Also this would change like say for example the actress nowadays we look up to well if popularity was the biggest determining factor then it would change them for the worst because we already look up to them why should that change. (7) It shouldn't change because their popular they are rich but once they get experienced to something totally different all the fame goes away and they'll be back were they started. (8) As a result they lose everything they have due to no popularity in society which is kind of weird in a way it shouldn't matter if your famous or not it should matter whether you can accomplish any goal in life.
(9) Now people may think popularity counts only outside of school, but it doesn't it counts everywhere you go. (10) Popularity is like how people judge you are weird, are you lame, are you different. Yes you are not like everyone you are different in your on way. (11) Everywhere you go you get judge in high school if your not what people are looking for then they just don't like you. (12) I think this would change my life because it would make me a different person probably someone who's not me. You should never change yourself to please somebody else.
1) If academic achievement was the biggest factor of popularity, then a lot of students will focus on school to improve on their academics. 2) Trying to improve on education will be a good idea because people will see that the student has good grades, which means that the student will get noticed. 3) Colleges will see that the student has good G.P.A and good grades and that will cause them to accept the student to their college. 4) However, this can be a challenge because it won't be easy to get A's from every class. 5) If they want to achieve their goal, they can get the help they need or they can do it on their own.
1) I remember in my sixth grade year, this happened to me one time because I wanted to match my education level with my cousin. 2) My cousin had honers in his report card and I didn't, but I was more smart than him. 3) On our last quarter for school, I tried to study as much as possible so I can learn more and do better on my tests to improve on my grade. 4) Also, I asked for help from my teachers to help me with some lessons I can't figure out. 5) As a result, all of this hard work got me good grades with an honors sticker on my report card. 6) However, my cousin didn't get an honors sticker. 7) Also, more people started noticing my excellent grades.
1) Overall, if achieving academics can be the biggest factor of popularity, many people can be popular by improving on their academics. 2) People improving on their education doesn't just change the school, but it changes how people look at that student. 3) Additionally, a positive effect will apply to that student because they improved on their education. 4) It will also put a positive effect on the school too. 5) However, not everybody will be able to achieve this goal. - Rogelio Aguirre P3
(1) It would have a major effect in my life, but I wouldn’t care much on the idea. (2) I would still have my usual friends, still have my goals and values, and also have the need to exceed. (3) I wouldn’t be too over the scale of popularity but in the middle, yet like I said before, I wouldn’t care much. (4) If academics did measure the scale of popularity, we would have more inventors rather than movie stars and possibly even have flying cars by now. (5) Academics still play a role in our lives but not so major like other things, but can if it can determine popularity.
(6) Popularity doesn’t matter to me and I wouldn’t lose track of my goals and achievements I have and want to accomplish. (7) Many would take the advantage of academics and may possibly even go far as to change everything of themselves, but I don’t think anyone will take or do such matters. (8) Another advantage of having academics make someone populare is us advancing more faster than we already are. (9) We would have invented iPhones in 2000, flat screens in 1990 and possibly even have flying cars by now. (10) Even with such minds we would still have disadvantages, but still be more advance than we are at the moment, possibly even way pass average.
(11) Academics do matter for many of us and is possibly one of the factors that helps us develop more and do things more quicker and better than ever before. (12) If academics did determine popularity, people will form cliques, others will go against one another, people would lose their goals and achievements for greed on wanting to be noticed or remembered. (13) Theres always disadvantages to everything, from drawing to even having the best job in the world, everything has its flaws. (14) Many try to change it but there can never be something perfect for everyone else to approve without an argument of any form. (15) We all have different viewpoints and beliefs, so popularity on academics can possibly worsen the situation rather than to improve it.
1) If being popular was determined by academic achievement then there would be a positive change in the world. 2) Because then people would look up to people that are popular and getting high aspects for themselves even though they have well paying jobs. 3) Like instead of having famous people post pictures or have their fans see what they are doing, such as drinking, smoking, etc.. 4) Then there actions would make their fans think that by doing these things they would be cool or be well known by many people. 5) And that's not good because these people are just letting their fans know that this is “okay” to do and you should try it.
6) Their fans are just going to start doing those things without thinking that its bad for them, because they have a whole life in front of them, to just throw it away to be “popular”. 7) Also if famous people or popular people start making a change in the world and start doing things that are good for them, then it will create a positive change in their fans. 8) Because they would start doing things that are going to lead them in the right direction. 9) Such as, getting a good education to have a good job later in their life, or even being positive about things. 10) Like if they don’t get what they want or whatever they would be patient about the things that they can’t always have.
11) So if famous or popular people do good things that can lead for a positive change in the world and in their fans. 12) Because they would want their fans to have a good life and not make the same mistakes as they did or do the things that they do. 13) People are there own person and shouldn't follow anyone just to get the same fame as they do. 14) So if being popular was determined by academic achievement then there would be a positive change in the world. - Crystal Coronel A/B2
(1). If academic achievement was by far the biggest factor in determining popularity, many thing would change in our society and how people view situations. (2). Many people would just want to be popular because they want to get good grades. (3). Also, people would start to be your friend just because you’re popular and they’ll just use you into getting a higher and better GPA. (4). In addition, not everybody is popular so they wouldn’t get so many good grades just because they aren’t popular. (4). It wouldn’t be fair to those who are smart and intelligent but aren’t popular.
(1). Life would have a huge impact because it would be seen as a more reason why to get popular. (2). Now, many people just want good grades so that way they can have a bright future ahead of them (3). Just because the person is popular doesn’t mean they’re smart and just because the person is smart it doesn’t mean they aren’t popular. (4). Life shouldn’t be looked like that because it’s not accurate. (5). I think people should be known for how hard they work, not on how popular they are.
(1). My life would have a big change because I don’t believe i’m popular, so basically my academic achievement would be low. (2). Which right now it isn’t low. (3). Everything would be different because I would want to be popular to just get good grades or have a high academic achievement. (4). Compared to now I can careless about popularity, I care more about being successful in school. (5). Many things would have a huge impact if academic achievement was determined by popularity. Priscilla Acosta p3
1. If my grades would determine if I was popular or not my life would maybe change. 2. I have a great grades Because I have A’s, B’s ,and one C. 3. So i do believe that my life would change in some way. 4. So if my grades did depend if I was popular or not then I might be popular. 5. If my grades did depend on something like popularity than it might not change my life because I would have the same goals that I have now in becoming a doctor.
6. I think that my grades would effect if I was popular or not because I have great grades, only if it was true.7) If popularity was determine on our academics than some things would change. 8)I believe that something would change because more kids would want to have better grades just so they could become more popular. 9) If popularity was base on our grades than most of the people that are popular might not be popular and all of the famous people out there wouldn’t be popular.10) If this was true then people would have to do serious changing to become popular again. 11) If this was going to happen then there would be more higher grades and then there is something you are doing to become popular instead of just the looks. 12) If this is how popularity did work then there would be a huge change in the world like schools, music , and in other work places. 13) People are going to have to do something to become popular so this might be hard for some. 14) If we did this then this would change my life in every way.15) So if we did this it would change everybody's life in general. 1)If academic achievement was a factor that determined popularity then it will cause a lot of things.2) The first thing is that students will now start to be more focus on school such as getting a really high GPA and high grades.3)Many kids that do not care about school and don’t come to school will start to go to school, do their homework and work because many of them would like to be popular.4) This is actually a good thing for students trying their best in school, which is what parents ever really want to, they want their kids to do really good in school go off to college and be something
5)I think that this wont really affect me but then again it will.6)I really do focus on school, I do my homework make sure that I keep up my GPA and grades.7)But then it will because I am also really focused on soccer I play in a soccer team and I watch soccer.8)But if this thing about academic achievement is the key to popularity then I would have to focus even more on school
9)This will also affect many famous people.10)Not many of these famous people don't even have an education such as singers,actors,athletes.11)Many of them didn't went to school, which means that they won’t be popular anymore as they were.12)I think that these famous people will give up their jobs and go to school so that they can become popular.13)I think that these will cause a big problem in the whole world because people are just gonna start to compete or challenge each other to see who is the smartest which I think is not good.
1. I believe that if academic achievement determined someone or something was cool or popular, then most people would spend more time at libraries, more jobs would be filled. 2. Most people would go to the library, the can learn more about average things people need to learn for at each grade level and they would focus on those things to improve in school. 3.More jobs would be filled because people are graduating at a rate than ever before.4 teen’s will work harder than ever just to fill popular by other around them. 5.I don’t believe that more people will go to college though, because you might want to be an singer, rapper, artist and/or actor. 6. these jobs you can have with education and people will still be popular because entertainment is entertainment and no one would want to change that part of life.
1.This will not change my life at all I don’t care if people think i’m cool or anything like that.2. AS long as i am happy and proud of me that is enough for me i don’t need anyone to validate if i am cool or not.3. The people who think i’m cool won’t be in my life after i leave that school.
1) Popularity does not matter in this school. 2) The only thing that matters in the school is being who you want to be not what others want you to be. 3) If nobody wants to accept you for who you are then do not be friends. 4) They would try to change. 5) Also popularity does not determine if you are in a club or not, that would be dumb if it did matter because some people are not very social or just can not trust anybody. 6) If people are trying changing you do not let them because they may want to abuse you. 7) Not many people believe that their are such thing that can help you be popular. 8) Some people think popularity may result into low grades, which sometime is wrong or right. 9) Many people think that popularity result into high grades and having a social life. 10) Some people think that popularity does not matter, that popularity is being who you want to be and not what others want you to be. 11) Make sure you stand up, be heard, and try being social.
12) Do not let any tell you what you can’t or can do it all just depends on yourself not on other. 13) Somedays you would need help and then you might have to ask someone to help because, not every can work independent. 14) Also say what you need to say, be who you want be, and stand up to anything that gets in your just be brave. 15) This is what popularity is to some people to other it might hangout and being social. 16) I think popularity is be who you want be.
Dear reader, 1. If popularity was based on academics some of the people now who is popular wouldn't be popular because some of them don't have an education.2. Another reason why academics being popular is a bad thing because most of the people that is viewed as popular maybe drop out of school or some maybe finished school.3. Many people in the world today who is consider popular probably won’t be popular if it was based on academics because once again they might not have an education they probably was considered popular for another reason other than academics.4.If popularity was based on academics I think school will try to teach their kids as hard as they can so they can have an education and be considered popular.5.Another thing if popularity was based on academics I think more people will attend school to be considered popular.
1. If popularity was based on academics I think school will be taught different because teachers will try to teach everyone so they can be considered popular.2.I also think if popularity was based on academics more people will try to attend school and get a higher education so they can be consider popular.3.If popularity was based on academics most of the people who are considered popular today wouldn’t be popular the ones who will be popular are the ones who attended school.4. I don’t think it will be an good idea for popularity to be based on education because many people won’t be considered popular.5. Another reason I say it shouldn’t be based on education because more people will try to attend school just to be considered popular not for the education.
Dear Reader,
ReplyDeleteIf academic achievements was the biggest factor in determining popularity, it would have a huge ripple affect on society mainly in a positive way.If it was the biggest factor of determining popularity, then there would be a decrease of teenage girls getting pregnant, a decrease in drug use, less people would be out of a job, and there would be a decrease in (gang) violence.
Thank you.
Yours truly,

(1)If you achievment determined your popularity I think people would only be your friend because of your knowledge. (2)What I mean by that is no matter what popularity has it’s pros and cons like using people, actually being acknowledged, or your the best. (3)It’s kind of impossible to say what the outcome will be but that’s on how the person represents themselves right? (4)On the other hand, everyone could have the chance of being popular because they use their knowledge not just for themselves but to prove that they made it far.(5)To prove that you have achieved something can make you the happiest person alive.

1.If academic achievements was by the biggest factor in determining popularity this would make a somewhat positive change in society.2. The reason why is because man people base their popularity off whats cool at the moment, while academics don't matter as much. 3. Which means only the right minded and intelligent people would gain popularity while people who choose not to learn will suffer with no attention like some celebrities who have not gained any knowledge and are only popular for doing simple things.4. That is why people will then follow only the smartest and bright minded like scientists and scholars. 5. Which then leads to a whole new world of ever changing popularity based on the academics of others.

If teens had good grade sand highest GPA in their class, it could benefit them in two main ways.4. one way is by getting them a good job and better money.5. Another way is by being popular I mean who doesn't like attention right?

I think that having good grades and a high GPA is a good thing and is cool because it benefits you in the future and gets you a lot, a lot of money.9. Who doesn't like money right? but it's not always about the money its mostly about the good education you get.

I would probably be ignored by mostly everyone because I currently have a 2.5 GPA and that is not a very good GPA to have.
ReplyDelete2.

ReplyDelete(6) Also this would change like say for example the actress nowadays we look up to well if popularity was the biggest determining factor then it would change them for the worst because we already look up to them why should that change.

ReplyDelete(6) Popularity doesn’t matter to me and I wouldn’t lose track of my goals and achievements I have and want to accomplish.

ReplyDelete1) If being popular was determined by academic achievement then there would be a positive change in the world.

ReplyDelete(1).

ReplyDeleteDear, Reader

ReplyDelete5)I think that this wont really affect me but then again it will.6)I really do focus on school, I do my homework make sure that I keep up my GPA and grades.7)But then it will because I am also really focused on soccer I play in a soccer team and I watch soccer.8)But if this thing about academic achievement is the key to popularity then I would have to focus even more on school

ReplyDelete1.This will not change my life at all I don’t care if people think i’m cool or anything like that.2.
ReplyDelete7) Not many people believe that their are such thing that can help you be popular.

Dear reader,
ReplyDelete1.
